Lexmark 57X9000 - Printcryption Card Prescribe Emulation

This card supports the decryption of data that has been encrypted using the AES Rijndael encryption algorithm. With the Lexmark PrintCryption Card and using host encryption with subsequent decryption in the printer proprietary or confidential information is secured and protected when transmitted over a TCP/IP network. The Lexmark PrintCryption Card enables printing of files that have been encrypted using the Rijndael encryption algorithm selected by the National Institute of Science and Technology as the Advanced Encryption Standard. This is a symmetric algorithm supporting key lengths of 128 192 and 256 bits.
Features Print sensitive or personal information With the PrintCryption module installed the printer is capable of decrypting print jobs encrypted with the AES (FIPS 197) algorithm. The Lexmark PrintCryption card analyses the encrypted data stream determines if the correct key was used to encrypt the data decrypts the data and allows the confidential document to be printed. This level of printing security is ideal for industries that commonly handle sensitive or personal information such as financial institutions government agencies and healthcare organizations. Compatibility The Lexmark PrintCryption Card provides support for the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES algorithm) which meets the FIPS-197 standard. Unique TCP/IP port numbers are used for the encrypted print information: Port 9150 - management; Port 9152 - used for data encrypted with an AES session key.
